      Another gorgeous production full of pages of inspirational felt ideas, ranging from the traditional to the cutting edge.Featuring felt artists from Australia and around the world. A cornucopia of visual stimulation, and a great resource for felt-makers. It covers a diverse range of felting from homewares and wall pieces, to clothing and accessories, onto scuptural and even industrial pieces. Highly recommend.

 1,000 Artisan Textiles - By Salamony and Brown.

Contemporary Fiber Art, Quilts, and Wearables.  Chocked full of fabulous images of textile art from artisans both here in Australia and overseas. All my students have loved this book as it has loads of felt work and gives them plenty of colour and design ideas/options.

Filz Spiel (Felt Play) and Filz Experiment  - Annette Quentin-Stoll.

I love these little hardcover gems! Beautifully photographed ideas and creations. Full of fabulous textures and witty designs brilliantly executed. There are no instructions, but there are so many new possibilities presented, that with a little skill, a bit of time and some ingenuity, you could really expand your feltmaking repertoire to a whole other level. Highly recommend.

1. Felting Fashion - Lizzie Houghton.

Creative and Inspirational techniques for feltmakers.  Great for those feltmakers interested in making garments from felt, also those who love combining felt and fabrics. Lots of great images and ideas. Truely inspiring, and useful for both the beginner and the more advanced.

 2. Uniquely Felt - Christine White.

Dozens of techniques from fulling to nuno and cobweb. includes 46 creative projects. Very comprehensive, loads of info, great for the beginner to the more experienced.

 3. Feltmaking and Wool Magic - Jorie Johnson.

 Contemporary Techniques and Beautiful Projects. one of my favourite feltmakers, Jorie is the ultimate professional. beautiful technique, unique and inspiring designs. Another author that really knows her stuff!

 4. How We Felt - Carol Huber Cypher.

Designs and Techniques from Contemporary Felt Artists. A great gallery of feltmakers work. some interesting design ideas.

 5. Fabulous Felted Scarves - Chad Alice Hagen and Jorie Johnson.

20 Wearable Works of Art.  for feltmakers interested in broadening their skills base, this is a great place to start. lots of  original ideas with 3D effects and surface design.

6. the art of felt - Francoise Tellier-Loumagne.

Inspirational designs, textures and surfaces.  This books been published by Thames and Hudson, so it's gorgeously presented. An inspirational guide to surface design and textures on felt. Loaded with pages of beautifully photographed images. No real projects to do but great way to get feltmakers thinking outside the square.

 7. Creative Felting - Lizzie Houghton.

Another felting book that's more about inspiring colours and designs and textures in felt as opposed to actual projects. Great images and some really cool ideas with other fibres and fabrics.

 8. Hand Felted Jewellery and Beads - Carol Huber Cypher.

 25 artful designs. great for those wanting to try their hand at felted jewellery. Some great techniques and ideas, along with an inspiring gallery.

9. Nuno Felt - Liz Clay.

Techniques and inspirations for accessories and home interiors.  For those interested in investigating the potential in nuno-feltmaking.

 10. Complete Feltmaking - Gillian Harris.

Easy techniques and 25 great projects.  Great little book for the beginner felter.

 11. Felt. irresistably beautiful projects - Robyn Steel-Strickland.  (Aussie author) Good introduction to the versatility of handmade felt.
